Short version: Deskback does not collect anything about you.

The app

Runs 100% on your Mac. No account, no analytics, no crash reporting that phones home.
Window positions are stored locally on your Mac and never leave it.
The only permission is Accessibility, used to read and set window positions. Deskback does not read what is inside your windows and does not use Screen Recording.
Network is used only to check your license (Dodo Payments) and to check for updates (Sparkle).
Works offline for 30 days between license checks.

No cookies, no trackers, no third-party scripts, no fonts loaded from other servers.
The early-bird counter reads a small file (sales.json) from this same site.
Waitlist: if you join, we store your email address, language and the date you joined — only to email you when Deskback launches. It is never shared or sold. Write to us to be removed at any time.
Checkout is handled by Dodo Payments on their own page, under their privacy policy.
